Ideas Everywhere…Ideas to Share

Any ideas? What do you think about this? What comes into your mind when you hear this word?

I often ask these questions to students. Mostly, I get silence as the response. Why? Perhaps they have little confidence to share their thoughts. Maybe, perhaps maybe, they don’t have any ideas related to the question after all.

But ideas are everywhere. We just have to gather them into our minds.

A person is said to be a walking encyclopedia. He has experiences, knowledge, traits and skills to share. Even talking to a street kid already gives us ideas about his life. An elderly has so much advise to impart. A toddler has questions that will leave us wondering. Every person is worth asking, worth listening, worth thinking. Ask, listen, and think… It will nourish our minds.

Places also inspire wonderful thoughts. The flowery garden, rushing winds, brilliant sunrise – our surroundings are full of ideas waiting for us to take notice. Capture the awe of the creation. Observe.

Reading is  the best way to harness fruitful thoughts about life. We do not need to spend money, time, and effort to explore the minds of great people. Open that book and your journey of  ideas begin. As you read, think. Ask questions, feel the emotions, apply learning. Great thinkers are wide readers. Achievers are book lovers.

What other book is more helpful than the Bible? It is our “Basic Information Before Leaving Earth”. Read it to gain spiritual insights, to know the ideas God has for us- His plan and concerns for us. Isn’t it amazing? The God of the universe reveals His heart and mind through a Book! Two thousand years ago He revealed Himself through a Baby, and now, He makes us very aware of Himself by leaving us His Book of life.

God created us as thinking beings. We need to use our minds to gain and give good ideas. The more we receive, the more we can give.  Gain ideas. Share ideas.
